Full disclosure, Classic Kennels was started by my mom and dad, Joni and Roy. They have been breeding and showing since 1977 and I joined the team while I was still in my teens.
Today, since Roy’s passing in 2017, Joni has been the main breeder of Miniature Dachshunds and specializes in the smooth coat variety and only the original colors: red, black and tan, and chocolate and tan.

Victoria Lee’s love affair with the Dachshund began in her teens and has carried on through her adult years. She has worked hard to cultivate a great line of standard long-haired Dachshunds that she does conformation and performance events with.

Final thoughts
When searching for a new Dachshund puppy in Missouri, can be a bit daunting at times. With so many puppy mills that have been re-classified as commercial breeders, it can be difficult to differentiate between a reputable breeder and one just trying to make a quick buck. Scammers seem to run rampant everywhere making it even harder to find responsible breeders.
